We race every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, year-round. Races may be cancelled if the weather is bad. The course details are shared before each race.

The Secret Cove Race and Pot Luck is an overnight event, usually in May. On Saturday, we race to Secret Cove, then enjoy a potluck dinner on the docks at Secret Cove Marine. On Sunday morning, we race back to Pender.

The Malaspina Regatta is a distance race outside the Harbour, typically held in either July or August. After the race, there's a dinner and prize giving at the Legion. Trophies for the previous year's events are awarded during this function.

The Van Anda Race and Pot Luck is an overnight event, usually in July. On Saturday, we race to Van Anda, then enjoy a potluck dinner on the docks. On Sunday morning, we race back to Pender.

The 'Round Nelson Race, also known as The Vendee Nelson Race, is an adventure-style event. We leave on Friday and spend the first night at Musket Cove Marine Park on Hardy Island. The second night is at Harmony Islands Marine Park, and we return to Pender on Sunday. This is an anchor-out event, adding a bit more adventure. It usually takes place in mid to late September.

Movie Night at the Madeira Legion is held in the winter, on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM.

In December, we’re invited to decorate and light up our boats for the Carol Ship Parade in Pender Harbour.
